Johnson & Johnson / Corporate Member Profile

This LEED Gold certified distribution center incorporates a traditional tilt-up design which defines the standards for all future facilities in the new industrial park.

Johnson & Johnson, a world leader in consumer health products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biologics teamed with The Lamar Johnson Collaborative and Clayco to design and build their new Midwest distribution center. The design of this building, which was the first in the new 70 West Commerce Center park, set the standard for all future facilities in the park. The facility was honored with LEED Gold Certification due to the collaboration of the design team and commitment Johnson & Johnson placed on sustainability and the environment.

The facility design incorporates tilt-up concrete construction, energy efficient mechanical and electrical systems, 100% emergency back-up power and vertical lift dock levelers. The 30,000-square-foot main office area is detailed with energy efficient glazing and the entry is identified with a composite metal canopy.
